Volunteer for A Day! Fulfill your Community Service Hours!

Special opportunity that is happening once a month for 3 hours. This is an opportunity to either get a sneak peak into what it takes to being a volunteer or use this opportunity to fulfill your community service for either a school program or graduation. Minors must be at least 14 years of age to volunteer for the day.

Tasks may include but not limited to:

  • Help with Chores (mucking, water buckets, hay bags)

  • Clean up the grounds (raking / weed wacking)

  • Decorate the trail for next fundraiser

  • Planting

  • Handy with tools - various projects on the farm need attention

  • Clean Tack

Click on “Sign Up Here” to fill out the online form to sign up for dates you are willing to help. We will have a waiver form for you to sign when you come.

STUDENTS: Community Service forms will be completed after the shift. You must provide the form to be completed.

When visiting the sanctuary:

*Footwear First! For everyone's safety (including little adventurers!), please wear closed-toe shoes or boots. No sandals, flip-flops, or heels allowed

*Keep it Clean and Green: No smoking, vaping, or alcohol is permitted on the property. Please do not throw trash on the ground; kindly use the provided receptacles to help us keep our sanctuary beautiful

*We respectfully request for you to leave your animals at home for cross-contamination concerns.

*Only enter equine areas with an equine caregiver.

*Only feed animals per an equine caregiver’s guidance. Our animals are older and many with special needs.

*Please patiently wait for the red gate to open for entrance to the event. The gate is to keep the horses safe on the property.
