Smith, will also be sharing her special tale about her and her horse. Arrive promptly at 10:00 AM to fully immerse yourself in this magical storytelling experience on the trail. Meet our rescued equines who inspire these tales and enjoy a truly unforgettable morning for all ages.

Important Note for Your Adventure: Please wear comfy, closed-toe shoes that love exploring nature as much as you do!

Supporting Second Chances:

Whispers of the Horses is a donation-based event, and your kindness directly supports the care and well-being of our rescued equines, giving them the chance to live happy and fulfilling lives right here in Plainfield, CT.

No Tickets Needed – Just Bring Your Imagination!

That's right, entry to this magical event requires no advance ticket purchase! Your kind donations are what allow us to continue our mission of rescuing and caring for equines.

Making Your Visit Safe and Enjoyable:

  • Footwear First! For everyone's safety (including little adventurers!), please wear closed-toe shoes or boots. No sandals, flip-flops, or heels allowed – we want happy feet on the trail!

  • Keep it Clean and Green: Let's keep our sanctuary beautiful for everyone! No smoking, vaping, or alcohol is permitted on the property. Please do not throw trash on the ground; kindly use the provided receptacles.

  • For the Love of Our Animals: To prevent any cross-contamination and keep our residents healthy, please leave your own beloved pets at home during your visit. We know they're cute, but our equines need their space!

  • The Gate Will Open Soon! Please wait patiently for the red gate to open – it's there to keep our horses safe and sound within their pasture.

  • Nature's Path: Just a heads-up that there are no paved areas. Navigating with wheelchairs, strollers, or wagons is at your own discretion as the trail winds through the lovely, but sometimes uneven, woods.
